Game Room & Alcohol Permit Distance Certification

GGC Survey PLLC will perform a distance certification survey in compliance with the City of Houston and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) prequalification requirements. This work includes:

1. Site Verification & Research

Confirm the subject property boundaries using existing public GIS, county appraisal data, plats, or provided documents.

Identify nearby protected uses as defined by Sec. 109.33 of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code (churches, schools, public hospitals, and day-care centers).

2. Field Measurements

Conduct measurements from the entrance of the proposed alcohol/game room business to all identified protected uses.

3. Creation of Signed & Sealed Survey Map

GGC Survey PLLC will prepare a professional survey map that includes:

Map with subject property clearly shown.

Required distance (300’, 500’, 1,000’, 1,500' depending on applicability).

Measured straight-line distances from the proposed business to each protected use.

Labels identifying schools, churches, daycares, commercial buildings, and other relevant features.

Surveyor’s signed & sealed certification (RPLS).

4. Compliance Support

Our deliverable meets the required documentation for the City Secretary Certification portion of the TABC eligibility application.

Includes any revisions requested by the City of Houston or TABC regarding measurement format.

Exclusions:

Boundary survey unless requested separately.

Legal representation or permitting submission services (client submits documents directly).

Title research beyond protected-use identification.
